How to Use Infographics
Infographics are a great way to build links back to your website and as we all know, back links are an important ranking factor in the Google Algorithm. The easy way to get back links is to simply submit your infographic to the many sites on the internet that accept submissions. Here are a few to consider…
There are literally hundreds more, but that list will keep you busy for a while. One point to remember when submitting your infographic is that each site is going to want an original description of your infographic. The description should be at least 200 words and keep in mind that longer is better. If you can provide a description of 500 words or more, you have a much better chance of the site publishing your infographic.
A better way to use infographics
I have a very good friend who is a major influencer in the blogging niche and he taught me this method for getting high quality backlinks to your website or blog using your infographic.
Reach out to influencers in your niche and offer them your infographic for their site along with a well written article to accompany the infographic. Sometimes you may need to sweeten the pot and offer to pay for a social media boost on facebook or twitter to get the sharing started.
If you find an influencer in your niche that is interested in your offer, you will get a great backlink from a niche related site. You will get access and exposure to the influencer’s social media followers, because they are going to share the article with their followers. You will also get traffic from the influencer’s site to yours through the link.
This is a major win – win for both parties and is a tactic that you should add to your back linking strategies.
